Burnet is a city in and the County seat of Burnet County.
Part of the TEXAS HILL COUNTRY
TEXAS, United States. The Population was 5, 987 at the 2010 Census.
Both city and county were named for David Governeur Burnet, The first president of the Republic of Texas.
